Analysis of the Influence of Boundary Condition on Simulation Accuracy of Solidification Thermokinetics Model

For a sample steel casting of cylindrical shape that was cast in metallic mould, the analysis influence and importance main boundary condition on simulation accuracy temperature field system casting-mould-environment performed. this system, frame bottom top casting, casting-mould interface analysed. As comparing quantity for accuracy, time-dependent (by means isotherms) mould total solidification time were selected. When considers conditions one these boundaries heat transfer coefficient remaining three is equal zero. The resultant flow along axis zero always. conclusions can be used fine-tuning models as well other applications; e.g. solution inverse problems.
